[Dxspider-support] No sysop abilities from telnet session

After rebuilding my system, I have no sysop abilities from within a telnet
session.  I can't connect nodes there, can't change my password... and so
on.

When I telnet to the localhost:8000, I'm able to do those things.

It was never this way before.

Does anyone know?
