Hi Folks,

I updated the DX Cluster Telnet Node status Sunday, August 28:

    http://www.dxcluster.info/telnet/dxcluster_status.htm

I took a completely different approach this time. I started with the
list of Telnet nodes from:

    http://www.dxcluster.info/telnet/

Then I used the connection status from:

    http://www.hamcluster.net/Map.aspx

If a node was listed on dxcluster.info, but *not* on hamcluster.net,
then I tested the node again (here). So this new list should be a
much better reflection of the status of the nodes listed at
dxcluster.info

I also made the following changes:

    Removed nodes: AA2MF, NG2P, K1AJ, KN0L, KR9U, NZ1U-3, VK8NSB,
                   W4DDM-9, W4TO, W4UAT, W8FT, WN9O and ZP6DEM

    Changed PA4JJ-1 to PA4JJ-2

    Changed IP address EA2RCF-5  => rcfcloud.dyndns.org
    Changed IP address GB7UJS    => gb7ujs.ham-radio-op.net
    Changed IP address I0OJJ-6   => i0ojj.mooo.com
    Changed IP address N7XG-7    => n7xg.ddns.net
    Changed IP address NL7S      => nl7s.net

I am still planning on removing the inactive nodes on or around September 15.
This gives about three weeks for an off-line node to "show up". I am aware
of the discussion about "part-time" vs. "full-time" nodes.

Again, if you know of a DX Cluster node that is not listed, or a node
you know is no longer in service, please do one of the following:

  1. contact the Sysop to have him/her update their node information
  2. contact AD1C and he'll look into it

Finally, thanks for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please ask!
