[Dxspider-support] Windows telnet help

Finally, I "resolved" the problem of telnet not working.

It was that my provider has blocked almost all ports and when I asked
them to open 7300 for me they did it. However, my trying after that gave
no result again as during telnet log ins from the Internet I was
actually and constantly asked to log in to the Micro Tick wi-fi router
put on my house by provider and not the actual machine that has Spider
active on it... It was more interesting that Spider also detected log in
try out but always left it to time run out.. Damned! It also turned out
that Micro tick router is changing IP every two days and even if no-ip
site is following fine still every time it changes it close all ports
again so I have to ask provider to open port again... so this is not
good provider for these experimenting and I am forces to find another
place to put it on...

While I am in progress of finding a new place i.e. with different (and
DSL, not wi-fi) provider, can you tell me>
the procedure how to connect to some other node after that to get and
send dx spots... I've red that I have to negotiate this connection with
some one and that so I understand but what then? Do I have to create new
file in local folder and what kind and name and what it has to have
inside...
> Is there some server that makes this process less painful (no special
arrangements with sysop i.e. "open access")

Hopefully I will connect the spider to DSL provider soon enough before
my interest is "still there" :-)

Thanks again.. 73
