[Dxspider-support] Login using callsign with prefix/suffix

Hi all

I’m curious as to why it’s not possible to log in to DX Spider using a callsign with a prefix or suffix, e.g. M0NZO/P or EA7/M0NZO:

login: M0NZO/P
Sorry M0NZO/P is an invalid callsign

Connection closed by foreign host.

This is disallowed by line 105 of ExtMsg.pm:
if (is_callsign($msg) && $msg !~ m|/| ) {

As QTH, QRA and location are stored per-account, is it not preferable for the user to maintain several accounts rather than login using an account that differs from the callsign currently in operation?

Another consideration is that logging software such as MacLoggerDX and RUMlog2Go automatically uses the logbook callsign as the username, with no way of overriding it.
