Thanks for the answer Dirk,

How can I rebuild the user file? I have never done it.

Stop the node.

Change the $myalias in in DXVars.pm.

Run /spider/perl/update_sysop.pl

Start the node.

Run console.pl or connect to localhost.

Then set the password.

or

you can create the user, give her a password, then do a set/priv 9 <new
user call> and you now have a new sysop.

or

you can edit a recent user_asc file and change the current sysop
callsign and password to the new one and rebuild the user file in usual
way. You will also still need to change the $myalias in DXVars.pm.

The first method is the one I would use.
