Hi Dirk et al,

Some spiders have an opening connect text before login eg
Connecting to gb7djk.dxcluster.net port 7300...

This is the GB7DJK DXCluster system using DXSpider software
If you are getting echo and you don't want it, do: unset/echo
or (if you are a Microsoft telnet user) disable 'local echoing'.

Where is this set up please – which file?  It’s not MOTD because that is sent after login.
