I have looked at the code and the three last revisions are all one-three
line changes to four modules (I am in 316), none which have anything to
do with the network interface. If you have a copy of 'gitk' installed
you can have a look for yourself.
GB7DJK (build 315) has 21 nodes and two skimmers and WA9PIE has 23 nodes
and one skimmer - but had 30 nodes over the weekend. I think I had 28
for several hours.
Without being overly flippant, perhaps the weather on the Internet in
your area is a bit rough at the moment.
Nodes come and go. There are reliable ones all the way down to part time
ones. I see no evidence of unusual disconnections, If there were some,
then the Mojo::IOLoop system that handles all that will have put out
some messages, over and above "Node MB6WV has logged out". "No route to
host" is a favourite one. You can expect either a normal disconnect this
to happen for anyone connected via a dynamic IP address. It would seem
that the days of keeping one's IP(v4) IP address for months at a time
are rapidly disappear - in lock step with the increasing scarcity of
IPV4 addresses. Next time they login, check how they are responding to
pings. Not receiving three replies will cause a disconnection - perhaps
I ought to put a message in the log about that? Roll on IPV6.
Rather counter-intuitively, the mobile operators are all jumping
headlong into IPV6, unlike their more landlocked, static brethren.
