[Dxspider-support] External Command showdx not working. Another way to do?

I had no idea that anyone was using this. I wrote it as a test program 
many years ago. It was last touched in June 2007, long before using a 
cache to speed up the "usual cases" of spot searches on nodes with 1000+ 
users (yes WA9PIE, I'm looking at you. Not for the first time :-). I 
have a look at this later on today.
