I am old and confused.

Shouldn’t that be

systemctl stop dxspider

???

If you have the cluster automatically starting, you need to stop the service. On Ubuntu, this would be…

systemctl dxspider stop

Or similar

Once you have made the changes

systemctl dxspider start

If you have not enabled automatic restart, then simply stop the cluster from the console with the command

shutdown

Forgive for this maye dumb question. I use shutdown in the console window.
But the cluster stays running.

Stop the node.

Change /spider/local/DXVars.pm to your taste (I'd have a different $myalias as well $mycall).

Run /spider/perl/update_sysop.pl

Start the node.

Enjoy.

Hello Dirk

I have copied the image from the Pi zero (PA4JJ-3) to the PC using Win32 Disk Imager and named the image file PA4JJ-1
Now I change the cluster call in DXVars.pm in PA4JJ-1
When I do /spider/perl/console.pl I see that the cluster still uses the cluster call PA4JJ-3. (see below)
Hello Jan, this is PA4JJ-3 in Emmen

Is there something else I have to change?
