[Dxspider-support] 70 character buffer

That's fairly standard on a disconnect. It depends on how much was in 
the output buffer at the time. I try to make sure than any outstanding 
data is sent before I disconnect my end. If the other end physically 
disconnects at the end, at the TCP level ("connection reset by peer"), 
then this sort of thing can happen.
