[Dxspider-support] Special Characters

With the increase in programs auto-spotting to the cluster network could special characters eg <> be added to the character set accepted in filter text?   
Tags such as  <SSB> and <unk> are being added in comment fields by auto-spotters particularly for POTA.    
Some users would like to be able to block them with the reject INFO command but < and > are not accepted.   Or is there a workaround?
