You are right. I deleted KIL some time ago when I realised this, but I don't
remember if I commented on it in the forum.

There is a similar problem with KIL being in the badword list. It means that
any spots for stations with K1L in their callsign won't propagate. There are
lots of those - some very big stations like K1LZ.

Hi,

I noticed that the default badwords file contains the word "URE". It should
not be there. Those who have it defined will not receive the spots of the
event that URE is doing for the 75th Anniversary.

If you want to remove it from the list:
unset/badword ure
