another possibility: set/lock
If you remove the spider node category, this will not prevent successive connections/disconnections, possibly looping through its crontab entries.
These nodes are not too far out of date.

Hello all
I deleted IZ0FKE and M0KGX-3 nodes because they still use outdated version of DX-Spider. I mailed them several times and ask to use the latest build but there is no reaction.
So I deleted them from the connect script and I removed them also from the crontab.
Inspite of having set them as bad node also and even restarted the cluster (using sudo service dxspider stop and then sudo service dxspider start) they keep coming back logging in.
What should I do next?
