I think the problem is that the user you are using is "root". It's a permissions problem. You must use the same one that dxspider runs under.

If you test it from the spider crontab, you will see that it works.

# AutoUpdate USDB
0 1 * * *  spawn("cd /tmp; wget -qN ftp://ftp.w1nr.net/usdbraw.gz; /spider/perl/create_usdb.pl usdbraw.gz")
5 1 * * *  run_cmd("load/usdb")

Hi all,

Since updating to version 536, I cannot update the USDB database.
DXSpider v1.57 (build 536 git: mojo/d9327446[r]) using perl v5.36.0 on Linux

I use this procedure :

cd /spider/tmp
wget -qN ftp://ftp.w1nr.net/usdbraw.gz
/spider/perl/create_usdb.pl usdbraw.gz
After, i connect my cluster /spider/perl/console.pl and i run command load/usdb

But nothing is happening as expected, I get the error message that the database is not downloaded.

See the attached photos and if anyone has an explanation for this.
