[Dxspider-support] Node pairs that never connect

Hi Tom,

If your configuration is correct, something is going wrong because you are constantly reporting the disconnection of JA2YYF-9, but there is no confirmation of the connection:

1735171506^(chan) <- I HB9VQQ-2 PC92^JE3YEK^306^D^^5JA2YYF-9^H96^
1735172706^(chan) <- I HB9VQQ-2 PC92^JE3YEK^1506^D^^5JA2YYF-9^H95^
1735173906^(chan) <- I HB9VQQ-2 PC92^JE3YEK^2706^D^^5JA2YYF-9^H96^
1735175114^(chan) <- I HB9VQQ-2 PC92^JE3YEK^3914^D^^5JA2YYF-9^H95^
1735176304^(chan) <- I HB9VQQ-2 PC92^JE3YEK^5104^D^^5JA2YYF-9^H95^
1735177504^(chan) <- I HB9VQQ-2 PC92^JE3YEK^6304^D^^5JA2YYF-9^H96^
1735178712^(chan) <- I HB9VQQ-2 PC92^JE3YEK^7512^D^^5JA2YYF-9^H96^
1735179904^(chan) <- I HB9VQQ-2 PC92^JE3YEK^8702^D^^5JA2YYF-9^H95^
1735181103^(chan) <- I HB9VQQ-2 PC92^JE3YEK^9902^D^^5JA2YYF-9^H95^
1735182305^(chan) <- I HB9VQQ-2 PC92^JE3YEK^11105^D^^5JA2YYF-9^H95^
...

I assume that both nodes have run set/spider <node>, because it is possible that JA2YYF-9 is not supporting you.

If you do a sh/conn you should see the active connections.

Merry Christmas,

Kin

Hi Kin,

>JE3YEK to JA2YYYF-9
I have checked my configuration and there is no problem with ja2yyf-9.
We still have a good connection with JA2YYF-9 now.

sysop at ns:~/spider$ cat connect/ja2yyf
timeout 15
connect telnet dxcluster.jp <http://dxcluster.jp> 7300
'login' 'je3yek'
client ja2yyf-9 telnet

regards,
Tom JF3LGC

Hi,

The following list shows nodes that are trying to establish a connection
with another node (possibly their partner), but are unsuccessful.
You can clearly see that the attempts respond to a cadence defined in your
crontab.
It is possibly a misconfiguration in your connection, or that the pair is
not well defined or is blocked.
This generates unwanted traffic that will be generated ad infinitum.
It is important to verify that the connections are established and
maintained, at least for a few minutes.
Not all of them are there, just some. Those that do not use pc9x, will not
appear.

CS5ARTD-2 to CT2IWWW-2
DO5SSB-2 to EA4URE-2
F1FCA-2 to PA4JJ-3
F1FCA-2 to SV5FRI-2
F4EYQ-1 to N6WS-6
F4IAA-3 to CT1EBQ-9
HG8PRC to HB9ON-9
IQ8DO-6 to IK5ZUK-6
JE3YEK to JA2YYYF-9

SV2HRT-1 to HB9VQQ-2
TA2NC to IK7IMO-6
WB3FFV-2 to HB9DRV-9

If you could check your configurations, I would appreciate it.

Merry christmas.
