[Dxspider-support] Trying To Understand This

If you were connected to five spiders with the same callsign, two of them will disconnect you because the maximum number of nodes one can be connected to is three.  Then your software will reconnect and again, two will get dumped off.  This process will continue.

The software might not even tell you it’s doing it but you’ll spend your entire session being dumped off and reconnecting by two of those nodes.

Timings have been produced (I don’t have a copy handy) which demonstrate that there is zero benefit in being connected to multiple nodes as an end user.

Of course, that doesn’t stop people doing it.
