[Dxspider-support] Page lenght

You could try:
set/var $DXCommandmode::default_pagelength = 50
This might fix the problem. But it will apply to the entire node.

I think the question is related to changing the default page length being 495 lines, ie that is the amount of lines sent before the 'Press Enter to continue, A to abort’ prompt comes up.

The length of the scroll buffer is great but I would like to be able to change when this prompt appears and have this change persist between sessions.

At the moment, I have to do a set/page 50 each time I open my console, despite having set/page 50 in my personal settings file. When I log on, that is overwritten. See below, you can see where my personal settings sets the page length to 50 but then it is reset back to 495.

Am I right Kirill, is this what you mean? If so, my request is the same.

The page length is the number of lines in the scroll buffer it is nothing to do with the size of the console. You can scroll back and forth in the console with the page up and page down keys. It could be changed to make this clearer.

Ken I'm talking about console window not terminal window.
I can resize terminal window but this does not change the page lenght.
For example, if I type 'sum' or 'read #msgno' with IK5ZUK 425 DX News bulletin in console I can see only ending of the output, but if I do 'set/page 50' I see kind of pagination of the output (Press Enter to continue, A to abort).

Hi Kirill and Keith
You can change the terminal size,
Oper the terminal, go to edit and preferences.
Click the display tab
There you can adjust the terminal screen size and it should stay that size until you reset it.
Works for me even after a reboot

Hi Kirill,

I have the same thing, I ssh into my RPi and open the console and it always shows that, even after I added the command to my /spider/scripts/g6nhu file, it applies the page length I specified and then it applies 495 lines straight after.

There’s a video of mine here: <https://g6nhu.co.uk/login.mp4> https://g6nhu.co.uk/login.mp4

I really want it to set at 49 but it won’t stick.

Hi Sysops
When I run console I got 'Page Length is now 495 lines'. If I do
'set/page 50' it works but after restart it again showing 495 lines.
I wonder how and where can I change console page lenght to 50 lines
constanly?
