[Dxspider-support] Question

Jan,
I think I now understand what’s going on.
The data is retrieved from the database and gets updated as new information arrives from the network.
Since the database isn’t updated immediately, the data can be unreliable until fresh information is received.
If the query is made via Route and no recent data has been received from the target node, it will appear with version 5401 and an empty build field.
If the query is done via DXUser, and no recent information has been received, you’ll see the values stored in user_json (specifically, in user.v3j).
It’s important to note that sh/version does not show all nodes we might have in our database, only those that are currently in the routing table — meaning we’ve recently received information from them.
If the node’s database is kept up to date (via export_users), then after a restart, we will retain the latest known values.
My proposal is: run an export_users every day.

Morning Jan,
This isn't new. I reported it on the list a while ago. It has nothing to do with the latest updates.
I haven't looked at the code, but I assume Dirk has it in his ToDo list.
I wouldn't worry; it'll be fixed.

No one knows why???

My clusters pa4jj-2 and pa4jj-3 are running with the latest build 615
However when I do a sh/node on pa4jj-3 it shows
pa4jj-2 Spider 1.57 build: 615
pa4jj-3 Spider 1.57 build: 547
And when I do sh/node on pa4jj-2 it shows
pa4jj-3 Spider 1.57 build: 615
pa4jj-2 Spider 1.57 build: 615
So why does it not show build 615 on pa4jj-3??
