[Dxspider-support] Upgrading Ubuntu killed DXspider

I've been using Linux for a long time, and I'm ok with things breaking
during upgrades. After a few failed attempts I got DXspider running last
night on Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS but had the reminder that 24.04 LTS was
available.

This morning I upgraded and DXspider is broken, I expected that :)

So I'm curious as to how this community works towards getting DXspider onto
these latest OS versions, and how/if people like me can fix their broken
installations through community advice? I'm going to leave it broken for
the day just-in-case one of you fine people fancies troubleshooting my
installation.
