Total agree dear Mikel
"Let me say that although being sysop of a dxcluster server is -of
course- a voluntary service, I am too convinced that having it running
with a minimum of quality is a must. If anybody cannot give it properly,
it would be better not to keep on running it. Having outdated or
missconfigured servers on the net is not a service but a problem for the
rest of the sysops."
At the very least they should check the inbox and spam folder of the email
accounts and respond to the requests of their partners.
As an example, I am still waiting for a response from several Partners:
HG8PRC, IW0QNL-6, IZ0FKE and PI1ZTM-7
I will surely not get a response from them and they will be eliminated in a
few days.
The saddest thing is that the requirement is for something simple and easy
to implement between nodes.
With the help of Google Translate, greetings.
Jose

Asunto: [Dxspider-support] Is there life beyond dxcluster?
Hello dear "listers",
These last days I have read more than once about some list members
claiming to have a life beyond the radio. I would truly want to believe
that this didn't want to say that there are people here without nothing
more to do than being worried about the good health of the cluster
network. AFAIK, some of the most active sysops here -I can swear you- do
have it, and sometimes not easy.
Let me say that although being sysop of a dxcluster server is -of
course- a voluntary service, I am too convinced that having it running
with a minimum of quality is a must. If anybody cannot give it properly,
it would be better not to keep on running it. Having outdated or
missconfigured servers on the net is not a service but a problem for the
rest of the sysops.
By the way, I would want to thank to all RBN team members for their
first class service. Being an avid CW'er (and a skimmer sysop too),
sometimes I can't believe the "miracle" of RBN, its quality, its uptime
and how is able to support some of the challenges that the biggest
contests present.
Be well and, as always, please forgive my bad english. I am able to
speak 3 1/2 languages, and none of them right ;-)
