Hi all,
71 nodes are involved in connection issues, although not all of them are
responsible for the failures.
It is surprising that, after multiple personal emails, only a small number
of sysops have made the effort to try to resolve the issues, even when they
were not the ones causing them.
Yesterday, approximately 10,800 different packets were generated due to
failed connections/disconnections.
Assuming there are around 350 nodes, each with an average of 5 partners,
this resulted in roughly 19,000,000 packets circulating in the network
yesterday due to these misconfigurations.
I wonder if we should start considering whether those who fail to contribute
to keeping the network free from noise should be blocked at the callsign and
IP level.
