Thanks Dan,

That was the original config I had.

# the SQL database DBI dsn
$dsn = "dbi:mysql:dxcluster:localhost:3306";
$dbuser = "sysop";
$dbpass = "xxxx";

  I have tried it again, but to no avail.  Appreciate your help.  I will
have to keep digging...
