No, with the new build you must continue to use set/spider. I guarantee it will work correctly.
If you update the mnodes.pl utility, you will see that it is already fixed:

I had originally done a set/spider for that node but it was showing blank directly after the update yesterday.  The latest /spider/Changes suggests they should now be set as set/ccluster:

2. Refine Incoming CCLuster connection handling. It is a requirement that a
   node is either currently known as a node (probably automagickly marked as
   dxspider previously by receiving PC92 K record) or doing it explicitly
   with a 'set/ccluster' command.

I have one node partner who is a ccluster, I’ve done a set/ccluster for him but he shows in my mn list with no type.

 N2WQ-1         NODE        0 d  1 h  13 m

Compared to all the others which have a type.

JA4PXC-11      NODE DXNT   0 d 10 h   8 m
 K4HNT-2        NODE DXSP   0 d  4 h  13 m

If I do a stat/user N2WQ-1, it’s listed as type L which I don’t think I’ve seen before.
