[Dxspider-support] Error on connect to port 27754

Some research reveals that there is a file called /etc/gai.conf. In 
there there is a comment line containing the words 'prefer IPV4' and 
underneath the line:

#precedence ::ffff:0:0/96  100

simply remove the '#' and (probably) restart the machine.
