Mikel,

Just so I am sure, the following line will keep the check_build.pi updated from Kin’s site and will immediately execute it?

18 03 * * 1,2,3,4,5 spawn('cd /spider/local_cmd; wget -q https://raw.githubusercontent.com/EA3CV/dxspider_info/main/check_build.pl -O /spider/local_cmd/check_build.pl’)


I have had Kin’s script for a while and I have it in my crontab, however my current line just executes what I downloaded and doesn’t look for updates…

0 4 * * 1,2,3,4,5 run_cmd("check_build Y")


As a Linux NOOB, I just want to make sure I am understanding correctly and can replace my current crontab line with the one supplies as if I am reading it correctly it is a better way to do this.
