Hello all, <br>
<br>
I have gotten a bunch of emails saying they have changed their
connects to be -3, and there should be no need to do this, just make
sure that -2 and -3 are both set as Spider nodes.<br>
<br>
In short, I will rename WB3FFV-3 to WB3FFV-2 and make it the main
node. After that I will re-point the DNS for dxc.wb3ffv.us (and
dxc.leadmon.net) to the new IP address that is now points to the new
WB3FFV-2 (mojo node), and off we go.
<br>
<br>
While DNS cache's flush (this could take a day on the Internet),
it's possible you could connect to the old node that has become
WB3FFV-3, but it shouldn't matter as the configs are identical, just
it will identify as WB3FFV-3, and they are interconnected. Hence
my suggestion that you also do a "<b>set/spider WB3FFV-3</b>" as
well. This way you will happily talk to the node regardless of if
it's WB3FFV-2 or WB3FFV-3, nothing else needs done.<br>
<br>
The one exception of to this is, and note! If for some reason you
connect to me using a hard-coded IP address, and you really
shouldn't as my DNS should be solid. You will need to repoint your
node to the NEW IP's that are being used on the new server. That
said I strongly suggest that you use <b>dxc.wb3ffv.us</b> as what
you connect with, it's the right way to do it, and then you will
automagically use IPv6 if available.<br>
<br>
I hope this helps explain things in a little more detail..<br>

couldn't think of an easier way to do this, but if your one of the
many cluster nodes that connect with WB3FFV-2, if at all possible
add WB3FFV-3 as a spider node as well.

At the moment the older DXspider is running as -2 as it has been
for years, and -3 is the newer Mojo node. I am going to try and
swap the two, and then change my DNS around for it to point at the
new server. As always it's possible you will cache old info, and
could end up connected to -3. As they carry the same exact same
configs, either will work fine. So by having both as nodes, you
will be just fine.

If you run into any issues, as always feel free to contact me and
I will try and help figure it out..
