Ian, It's more efficient to use badw_regex than badword.
When the bad word appears without modifications, that is, without
duplication of characters, without punctuation characters,...,
badword works very well, but if the word is altered, then it is no
longer effective.
Example:

If I define in badw_regex: KILLER k1ller KILL
and I receive a spot with the comment: xxxxKKKKKiiiiLLLLER-----
there will be a MATCH for sure, as good as if only KILLER had been
received.

I decided to group the badwords and put them manually in
badw_regex.

Expansion of the test.
Verified that badword is failing, because after defining a WORD and doing the load, I send a spot with the defined word and it propagates without problems through the network.
In debug there is no indication of "swore".
But when I include the new word in badw_regex and do a load/badword it works perfectly.

Hi Dirk,
Test scenario:
DXSpider v1.57 (build 445 git: mojo/6ec22e78[r]) using perl v5.30.3 on Linux
badword -> empty
badw_regex -> with multiple words
Test:
I run set/badword and add 120 words to the badword file.
I run sh/badword and all 120 words appear.
I run load/badword
I run sh/badword and apparently not any words.
I do a cat to local_data/badword, and there are all 120 words.
Do another cat to local_data/badw_regex and you are back to the beginning of the test.
Clearly something is not working correctly.

In the case of badw_regex, I directly edited the file and copy/pasted it, so I don't remember if it was empty.
