<p>And while I appear to be in development mode, and also trying to preempt some "cleverness" to defeat (spot) de-duping as exhibited by some commercial outfit trying to flood the network with both normal spot and a duplicate with a time stamp added to the comment field. Probably the idea being that one of these will get through.</p>

<p>That source of irritation has gone away for the moment - but I'm sure they'll have something new to annoy us with for the weekend or later. Unless someone has already recalibrated them :-)</p>

<p>So I will be adding date / time detection in the comment field for each (unique) incoming spot. If such spot is found it will be dumped.</p>

<p>And yes, there will be a off switch.</p>
