[Pelicans] welcome/test message

Hello All

For some time I have been lurking on the pelicans mailing list for
weekly teamsheets. I have noticed that the list of members has grown to
fill my (22" 1600x1400) screen. 

In a spirit of helpfulness I have created a private mailing list using
Mailman (http://www.list.org) mailing list software and subscribed you
all to it.

This is a private list and cannot be used or enquired on by outsiders,
there is also a private archive of past messages available. 

Any member of the list can send messages to the list. They will be
automatically distributed.

I offer this facility in the hope that it will make Lee's job (and
anyone else wishing to send messages to the wired members of the club)
easier. 

If anyone wants out, you can either unsubscribe yourselves (send a
message to pelicans-owner@tobit.co.uk with the word 'unsubscribe' on a
line by itself in the text, or use the web interface address at the
bottom of this message)

To send a message to the list, simply address it to:-

pelicans@tobit.co.uk

and it will be sent out to all the members.

Complaints, brickbats to ME please (not Lee).
