Without wishing to blow our own trumpets...Spartan Futures National Goalee 
Weekend is, quite simply, really, really UGLY!...If you haven`t experienced 
Spartan or Futures before then we promise you something just a little bit 
different to anything you may have seen or done elsewhere. If you are a Spartan 
Futures convert then you will already understand!

Hockey Goalee Training
This summer Futures Sports are delighted to host two specialised hockey 
goalkeeper training clinics.  Both of these field hockey goalie courses run for 
two days and aim to provide a safe, fun and challenging environment to teach you 
new hockey goalkeeper skills and techniques.  Our unique field hockey goalie 
tips are guaranteed to increase your confidence, improve your game and make you 
the best hockey goalkeeper possible!
Hockey Goalee Training Methods
With Spartan involved in our field hockey goalee camps you can be sure of 
receiving first class hockey goalee coaching using proven training methods and 
techniques.  During our field hockey goalie courses you will be involved in 
training sessions that employ high volume, guided-repetition techniques to 
target specific development areas.  This approach will improve your technical 
ability in every area of hockey goalkeeping, including: kicking, penalty corner 
defence, handwork, second save reduction, breakaways, one-on-ones and mobility.
Hockey Goalee Course Details
Our field hockey goalee training courses are designed for adult players and 
coaches (min. age 16).  They take place on an international standard water-based 
pitch and make use of all the latest and safest OBO kit and equipment.

As our hockey goalee courses are part of our successful summer sports camps 
scheme, you can join us as a residential student and enjoy comfortable 
accommodation in our en suite rooms.  You can also attend on a non-residential, 
day-to-day basis.
All Futures Sports staff are fully trained, CRB checked and have the appropriate 
welfare, first aid and coaching qualifications.

AIM OF OUR HOCKEY CAMPS
The aim of all our Hockey Camps is to provide all ages (10-16) and abilities 
(Beginner to Elite) with an appropriate level and range of coaching and fun 
activities.  We have a low coach:player ratio that ensures that we can focus on 
the specific needs of each player. Of course, its not all about the hockey, we 
have a fun packed programme which has been developed over the past 20 years of 
Camps. In short, our aim is to create a fun, memorable, learning experience for 
young players.
 
WHEN ARE THE FUTURES SPORTS HOCKEY CAMPS?
We have 6 Camps running this summer as follows;
CAMP 1 (Inc. CLUB FS - see below, EHB Level 1 Coaching Course) - 17 to 22 July 
2011
CAMP 2 - 24 to 29 July 2011
CAMP 3 - 31 July to 5 August 2011
ADULT GOALEE WEEKEND - 6-7 August 2011
CAMP 4 - 7 to 12 August 2011
CAMP 5 - 14 to 19 August 2011
CAMP 6 (Inc. EHB Level 1 Coaching Course) - 21 to 26 August 2011
 
WHERE WILL THEY TAKE PLACE?
Moulton College is an FE/HE college in Northamptonshire. It has some of the best 
sporting facilities in the UK, including 2 sand, 1 water, 1 3G and 1 full indoor 
pitches; a golf simulator and driving range, fitness suite and dance studio - to 
name just a few. Accommodation is in ensuite single and double rooms of modern 
University standard. Meals are of a high quality and have a variety of options, 
all are prepared by the college catering kitchen. 
 
WHO ARE THEY FOR?
The Camps is for players of all abilities aged 10 to 16 and the Adult Goalee 
Weekend is for ages 16+. We assess and talk to all players to determine which 
groups they will be most comfortable in. We are very flexible to players and 
parents needs regarding the playing side and we fully understand the different 
motivations young players have for coming on camp. So whether its a fun week 
with friends or a more intensive hard working, high intensity experience you are 
looking for then Futures can accommodate you.
 
WHAT IS THE PROGRAMME?
The Camps run from Sunday to Friday, and the Goalee weekend runs Friday to 
Sunday (Friday optional). Each day has 2 hockey sessions and 1 evening session, 
except Fridays which only have one. All sessions a planned by our highly 
experienced team of EHB Level 3+ coaches in line with expectations for the EHB 
Single System. Evening activities include golf, indoor hockey, field games, 
quizzes, `Has Futures Got Talent`, Futures Olympics, Parties, Waterslide and 
many others.
 
 
OTHER STUFF: All participants receive a Camp shirt, Water bottle, sponsored kit 
and stuff bag.
