[pelicans] AGM Update please read

Good Evening all,
Many thanks to all those that attended the AGM last night.
For those that were unable to attend the good news that came from the meeting was that the club fully backed the recommendation of the re location of our pitch through the councils development plans for Lynnsport.

As a club we will  need to raise in excess of £60,000 on top of the funds it has already has available towards the cost of a carpet, if all goes well this will have to be raised by September 2014.

The club now needs your support to make this happen, A fund raising committee will be formed in the coming weeks so if you would like to be a part of that please let me know.

Also if you have some great ideas for raising money let me know as we will be needing many different ways to get to our target.

The committee hope you all agree it is a great opportunity for the club and one that everybody will get behind.
