[pelicans] HOWTO: unsubscribing from this mailing list

It seems that there are unwilling members of mailing lists that I
administer, who do not understand how to unsubscribe. If you are one of
these, please follow one of these instructions:

* Follow the instructions in the email that are sent to you on the 1st
of every month.

* Send a message to pelicans-request at tobit.co.uk with the word
"unsubscribe" in the message (more for completeness: the Subject field
as well).

* Reply to any message sent to you with the word "unsubscribe" in the
Subject field and also (for belt and braces) as the first line of the
message.

* If none of that seems to work, then send me a email directly and I
will unsubscribe you.

If you are aggrieved about stuff on this mailing list, or don't want to
be here, please tell me about it.

You may be wondering why I am sending this message - well someone, on
one of the mailing lists I administer, has decided to report one or more
messages as spam. The result of this is that certain ISPs automatically
reject messages for a fair number of *other* subscribers. This does not
necessarily solve that person's problem, but *does* impact on everyone
else.

I do not know whether it was someone on this mailing list, so I am
sending this message to all the mailing lists.
