[Dxspider-support] permissions problem

I am having trouble getting spider running.  It is undoubtably a Linux 
or RedHat problem, but I am stumped.

When trying to run cluster.pl I get:

my /etc/passwd file contains

sysop:sq93lWHrpOHc2:500:251::/home/sysop:/bin/bash

and /etc/group has

spider:x:251:sysop,wb8zrl,root

the directorys look like

all sub-directorys have permissions like the spider directory

I am running RedHat 5.1 on an AMD K6 platform.  The kernal is 2.0.36, 
and I have installed Perl-500503-1.

Can anyone straighten me out?            Tom   WB8ZRL
