You say that the node with ssid -6 connects to you, but without the
ssid.  Do you really mean he is not sending the ssid?  If he is not
sending the ssid, that is a problem at his end.  

Maybe I do not understand your question then.  So, another thing...

Use the set/node (or set/spider, or set/dxnet depending upon which type
of node he is using) command with an ssid.  For example  set/spider
k1xx-6.  This means that when k1xx-6 connects, he will be recognized as
a spider node.
