            I apreciate that Ian. My thoughts were that Dirk knows which
cpan modules he is currently using for updates so we would only need that
info when he makes changes to the cpan issues.

I , like many others I guess , don't use (can't use) the CVS method to it's
best advantage so to us it's just a tarball and the changes file probably
wouldn't get read for days maybe weeks (unless an error occurred of course).
In this case the error was issued on screen on console startup so I knew
right away what was wrong. I like to follow the modus "Prevention is always
better than cure" Since only Curses seems to have been changed in this
instance it was a bit late to read the changes file AFTER the tarball was
unpacked and the spider files overwritten. Had I (and others) known we could
have done the curses update first before unpacking the tarball.

I had warned my users I would be off for 10 minutes. Because of the curses
thing I was off for 2 hours roughly.
