Hello All, 

Well I agree with Rene about the KPC-3.  I have been using one for 
several years and it occassionally comes out of KISS mode.  

When changing over the node here from PacketCluster(TM) to 
DXSpider(TM), I used another computer and pacterm to put the KPC-3 
into KISS mode with command INT (for INTERFACE) KISS.  You have to 
turn the (TNC) power off and then back on to make the setting take 
affect.  

By the way, to take it out of KISS mode, using Pacterm hold down the Alt 
key and enter 192 then 255 and then 192 and you should get the 
Kantronic banner.
