[Dxspider-support] HELP!!!!!!!!

Not that I think this will solve your problem, but please upgrade (you
will need Digest::SHA1 from CPAN, the URL is in the install manual on
the website).

I notice that DXVars.pm has the $clusterport set to 27755 instead of
27754 (the default). Unless you *really* need to have it stay at 27755
then set it back to 27754 and it will just work. 

If you need to keep it @ 27755 then the client line should read:-

  client -p 27755 login telnet

BTW are you using the console.pl program locally on your box for
sysoping? It is better than the simple client IMHO (I have done 

  ln -s /spider/perl/console.pl /usr/bin/dx
  ls -s /spider/perl/*dbg /usr/bin

for convenience).
