[Dxspider-support] Questions login phase resp. /spider/data/connect

Hi,

I have difficulties so send users a (static) C-Text and a (more or less
often) changed text at login.
Until now I'm using 'motd' to greet the users with a static text. I would
like to announce current events or give hints and additional information,
too.
 
Therefore I tried different files mentioned in client.html. 
I moved current motd to connect and wrote a new motd file because I expected
to get the content of /spider/data/connect in each case.

Here are my results:
- /spider/data/issue is sent before getting the telnet login -> ok
- /spider/data/connect isn't sent at any time - neither when doing 
   a telnet or an ax25 connect -> bug - or misconfiguration @my site?
- /spider/data/motd is always sent

Using /spider/scripts/user_default is no solution as some users have already
set up their own script.

Unfortunately I didn't found a solution which fit my needs/intentions.
Only solution seems to use motd and edit thís file, whenever there is a
change.

Almost all my users do plain ax25-login - connecting to OE9XPR-9. AFAIK we
have few users using telnet or webinterface to login. (BTW, Dirk - is it
possible to increase the one minute login timeout of the DX-Spiders' telnet
listener/application?)
