I know that "clusse" (old cluster software) does not handle the AK1A
type PC12 chat frames correctly, but it seems that the Spider
AK1A-translation of those PC12 frames is also not correct, as they are
sent with the wrong 'originator-cluster' I think. See my mail of
December 3, attached below :
(so I think it is better not to forward these frames to AK1A
linkpartners as this type is not only used for true AK1A's)

Hi Dirk,

I got a report that my cluster (PI8DXQ) was causing garbage PC12 frames
tonight. I was not aware of it before and have checked the debug log.

I found that PC-12 frames (loggernet) which I receive are not correctly
send out to an AK1A type node linkpartner.
As you can see below, the content is changed (^LOGGERNET^ is changed to
^LOGGERNET.LST^ and originator is PI8DXQ in the outgoing frame instead
of SK3W-6 !!)  See below :

1070391096^<- I PI4TUE-8 PC12^SM0LCB^*^#165
L*QSO;SM0LCB;N;27;20031202;1851;SM7XON;JO87FD;144M;SSB;28;8817;10;0;2;^L
OGGERNET^SK3W-6^0^H26^~

1070391096^-> D PI8DXG PC12^SM0LCB^*^#165
L*QSO;SM0LCB;N;27;20031202;1851;SM7XON;JO87FD;144M;SSB;28;8817;10;0;2;^L
OGGERNET.LST^PI8DXQ^0^H29^~

Probably this outgoing frame is again mutilated by my linkpartner
(pi8dxG) who is using old clusse software I believe, because later on, I
received this frame incoming again as :

1070392654^<- I PI4TUE-8 PC12^SM0LCB^*^#165
L*QSO;SM0LCB;N;27;20031202;1851;SM7XON;JO87FD;144M;SSB;28;8817;10;0;2;^
^PI8DXQ^0^H48^~

As you can see it is a normal announce now, and the "loggernet-part" is
gone. And it is also send out to my own users:

1070392654^-> D PA3DOL To ALL de SM0LCB: #165
L*QSO;SM0LCB;N;27;20031202;1851;SM7XON;JO87FD;144M;SSB;28;8817;10;0;2;%0
7%07

I have removed the link to PI8DXG for the moment until this is solved,
but maybe there are more DX-Spider's with a AK1A-type linkpartner which
cause the same garbage frames (?).

It seems to be a bug in DX-Spider which "translates" the frame wrong to
AK1A output (?)

(running DXSpider V1.51 build 57.253)

Any Idea's ?
