[Dxspider-support] Java Client (More on this)

I had to install a new JRE1.4.1 on my XP machine to get the applet work.
Have you tried that? On my old Windows 98 with an old Java version it
worked fine.

This has been pretty easy...
Under the old WEB client (I am now using) I can use my XP system to see
the
WEB client to connect with. I get the initial screen to log in, click
login,
I get the WEB interface and all is fine. My XP system is fully patched
and
MS Java enabled.(most IE 6 has this ability).

Under the new client I get the initial screen to log in, click login,
the
new screen does not give me the WEB client to connect with. This is what
has
been driving me crazy. I have been testing this over and over with the
same
results. I also have a Win98 PC that also allows me to connect running
IE
5.5 with SP2.

I hope this answers the question. I feel there is more of a down side
than
an upside to the new version! At least for the MS users. Maybe there is
something new in the code causing this? I am not a programmer!!
