I am afraid this is all my fault. Hopefully I shall have some time to
finish the changes I started a while back, soon.
In the meantime, the work around is to either restart the node
periodically.
Sorry, but this is why suggested people don't update from CVS for a
while. The problem is only likely to affect people that experience some
degree of looping.
