Hello Jim

you have to edit /spider/local_cmd/crontab  to make the connection
persistent in this way:

0,5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,55 * * * * start_connect('node') if
!connected
('node')

that is one line, and that will check every 5 minutes if "node" is connected
and if not, it will try the connection.
