Hi Charlie and gang.
Yes it looks like file corruption of yesterdays spot file but later also
corruption of the log file. I deleted the log file for September and now
it's ok again.
I wonder if this has anything to do with a dodgey SNTP server?. My client
picks a different server if the one it's using fails and for some reason
the log was showing a lot of dates at 01-Jan-1970. I now also have folders
for the year 2006 in the data sub directory but the log entries have zero
bytes.
There is a 100Mb disk cache on the cluster machine so I wonder if there
could be a problem there.
