Hi Ian,
thanks for clarifications.
My intentions were to know if there was some software setting to fix this, and let people login into the cluster, through a telnet link on a webpage, without changing hyperterminal settings. (DX-Net nodes don't need to change anything).
Tnx again, Simone

Hi Simone,
HyperTerminal will work but you will need to change the end of line setting or use control j.
To change the end of line from the file menu select properties.
Then Settings. Now select the ASCII Setup button.
Check that the "Send line ends with line feeds"
This should then work for you.

Subject: [Dxspider-support] DXSpider telnet access from HyperTerminal
Hi everyone,
I've noticed that when I connect to a DXSpider node from Hyperterminal, I get login message, but when I type my callsign, nothing happens.
If I run the connection in a DOS window, all it's ok.
This happens on latest windows versions that have Hyperterminal as the default Telnet application.
Does anybody else have noticed this ?
