AX25 CONNECTS

In the absence of any comments on this thread, I scanned the group's 
Email archive since I joined the Group for clues. There have been some 
outgoing AX25 connect problems in the past due to LINUX setup problems. 
However in this case I can send and receive outgoing AX25 requests from 
neighbouring nodes; the problem I have is in connecting to a USER. I had 
no problems to do this with the Windows version of Spider. Does anyone 
have an idea on areas of  difficulty that may cause the problems 
outlined in my previous note.
