[Dxspider-support] Problems Trying to install DXSP on Mandrake 10.1

Ok i have tried 3 times now to install DXSP 1.51a on a
new build of Mandrake 10.1 with no luck...

i went step by step through the online install
directions:

downloaded all required modules...
Curses and Time-HiRes blew up wheni tried the make
test and install
went through the adduser stuff for sysop and all wnr
ok..

set all the callsign stuff in /etc/group
tried to do the ./create_sysop.pl and this blew up
with a rather lengthy list...

it started cant locate DB_File.pm in @INC blah blah
blah at DXUser.pm line 22

some other stuff about compilation aborted at various
lines such as 12 & 22...

i know the error message here is rather vague, but i
am hoping i have done something trivial to cause this
and dont have to type the whole error message :-)

after this i tried to start the cluster anyway and it
said something about not being able to open the
lockfile...

when i did the first install on RH9 it went perfect so
i was assuming the same would be so on the Mandrake
10.1 install...

any ideas ??
