Hi Tony
Use urpmi with MDK 2005LE, after you have installed 2005 LE,go to
easyurpmi.zarb.org & follow the instructions , tick all main, contrib, updates, plf etc.
dont forget to open a terminal as root when copying and pasting each of the lines.

Also tick the used compressed index box, it will make the downloading of the hdlists faster.

then from either the command line you can use "urpmi -a ax25" or open MCC (mdk control centre)( blue
monitor with a red spanner on it ) and select install s/w then in the box type "ax25" and that will
list all the ax25 files.

Urpmi is a very useful tool, its like rpm but goes further, it goes off and fetches all the
dependencies as well as the file you need.

Dirk, how about spider as an rpm ??, it would make the installation of spider mega simple.
