[Dxspider-support] A possible change to data storage (and Windows)

Dirk,
I did a complete full install just last weekend. I'm not sure what
version of active perl I installed, but can let you know when I get home
tonight. I know it was 5.8.something.
I have not done a CVS update since last Sunday - so don't know if I'm on
the absolute latest & greatest.
