I'm getting frustrated with a small but deadly problem..

Users can connect to dxcluster but are immediately disconnected... by RF link
via a kiss tnc attached to ax0 and is in kiss mode...
ax25d is loaded.
The ax25d.conf file is as follows::

# /etc/ax25/ax25d.conf
#
# ax25d Configuration File.
#
# AX.25 Ports begin with a '['.
#
[K4XTT VIA CLUSTER]
NOCALL * * * * * * L
default * * * * * * - sysop /home/sysop/spider/src/client client %u ax25
#
#[OH2BNS-2 VIA 1]
#NOCALL * * * * * * L
#default * * * * * * - root /usr/sbin/node node
#
#
#[OH2BNS VIA 2]
#NOCALL * * * * * * L
#default * * * * * * - root /usr/local/sbin/ttylinkd ttylinkd

I do not see anything in the log file that helps to trouble shoot this.. just
a line with the callsign connected, then another line with the callsign
disconnected.

Dxspider responds to a connection by spitting out the welcome stuff but the
callsign is disconnected by that time, I mean, in just a few milliseconds...

I have seen just ONCE, the statement at the bottom of the screen (in dxspider)
the statement "broken pipe". But that has only occured once in many tries.

It seems almost as if the connecting station does not have permission to
connect. Dx spider sees this and disconnects the station.

Using SuSe10.1, perl-5.8.8-12, dxspider latest cvs version from scratch, no
upgrade, version DXSpider V1.52, build 61.514, 1 gig of mem, kernel version
Linux falcon 2.6.16.13-4-default #1 Wed May 3 04:53:23 UTC 2006 i686 i686
i386 GNU/Linux.

Any help would be appreciated as this is killing me right now.

Best regards to all, and especially to Dirk for the software...
K4XTT, Victor
