Is there any known way to track down the node generating these?

Having looked at it rather closer, I see that we are dealing with a "script
kiddie". Doing a "grepdbg selfspotter", selecting one of the callsigns
returned and doing a "grepdbg <call>" shows a remarkable correlation between
a "self spot" and then a PC41/1 "Selfspotter"
magically appearing within a few seconds (either before or after the spot -
vagaries of network).

This really is not on. Please stop it.
